貘 [mò] 1. A mammal with a body shape similar to that of a rhinoceros. It has a long nose that can stretch and contract freely, no horns, and lives in tropical regions. 2. A large, odd-toed ungulate animal from the family Tapiridae, found in South America, Central America, Malaya, and Sumatra. It has a heavy, hairless body, an elongated snout that forms a flexible short trunk, a reduced tail, and short, stout limbs with four toes on the front feet and three toes on the back feet.
