Duan Yucai remarked: "This is presumably from ancient medical texts." 用针刺穴位。《説文•穴部》：“䆘，入衇刺穴謂之䆘。”段玉裁注：“蓋古醫經之言。”2. Narrow and protruding appearance. "In the Qimin Yaoshu: 'Among the salt in the sun, the spine must be 䆘.'" Shi Shenghan's commentary explains: "䆘 means narrow and protruding." 窄小而突起貌。《齊民要術•養牛馬驢騾》：“當陽鹽中間，脊骨欲得䆘。”石聲漢校釋：“䆘，意思是窄小而突起。”---1. Same as “拶” (to pinch). 同“拶”。---1.
