(恭敬。)Verb: To shackle both hands together. As noted in "Shuo Wen Jie Zi, Hand Section": "拲，两手共同械也。" ("拲" means to bind both hands with the same device.) In "Zhou Li, Department of Autumn, Head of Prison": "凡囚者，上罪梏拲而桎。" ("All prisoners shall be shackled and bound together with wooden instruments.") Zheng Xuan's commentary refers to Zheng Si Nong, stating: "拲者，两手共一木也。" ("拲 means both hands bound together with one wood.")
