找 [zhǎo] Verb 【Basic meaning】: Seek; look for 【Character formation】: Ideographic; composed of "hand" and "spear" (depicting the action of picking up a spear with a hand). 1. Same as the basic meaning ([En.] look for; try to find; seek) Example: 寻找 (xún zhǎo) - to search; 找人 (zhǎo rén) - look for someone; 找物 (zhǎo wù) - seek items. 2.
