The original meaning: an ancient bronze or pottery container for holding food, with a round mouth and either two or four ears. 3. Word formation: a compound character, composed of elements from "bamboo" (竹) and "dish" (皿), with the phonetic component (皀). 引: 1. "Shuōwén": 簋, a square container for millet. 2. All say round is called 簋, referring to the inner roundness. — "Zhou Li, Sha Ren" commentary 3. "Yi Jing, Sun": Two 簋 can be used for offerings. 4.
